Today if you lose your password, you will have to contact us at EndPlan to reset it. Since we only store encrypted version of your data, without your password, we cannot acces it. Therefor you will have to re-enter your information. We are working hard to extend our security to allow you to securely recover your password. Let us know if this is an important feature for you. We also allow you an easy download option to backup all of your EndPlan offline. This can be considered as an extra security feature in case of a loss of password. You will then be able to easy reupload all of your information.

This is a security feature. We require this so that in the case of an unexpected event, illness or death, that your EndPlan is released to your Executor in a timely manner.

We understand that we are storing your sensitive data and protecting it is our highest priority. By design, our business model is “privacy-friendly”. We charge you a subscription so we don’t have any business motivation to sell your information to 3rd parties or for advertising. Here’s our Privacy Policy. End-to-end encryption makes the data encrypted or unreadable by the very service or the app you used to create it, because the app simply doesn't hold the keys to decrypt it. It’s only readable by the user who holds the key to decrypt it and no one else. That's you.
